Idmind - Engenharia de Sistemas Lda (hereinafter referred to as “IDMIND”) is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data. Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with personal data protection legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, and other applicable legislation.
IDMIND respects best practices in the areas of security, respect for privacy, and protection of personal data. The definitions and terms used in this document were taken from Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
Definition of personal data
Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR), concerning the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of such Data, the definition of personal data includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, such as name, address, email, age, marital status, identification number, location data, electronic identifiers, and specific elements of the physical, genetic, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
Data controller – Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Processing of personal data
The personal data collected by IDMIND are only those necessary for the management of the provision of the contracted services, as well as, if authorized, for marketing purposes.
Within the scope of contracts, namely employment contracts, some personal data are mandatory to provide.
The personal data collected are the minimum necessary, according to the purpose for which they are intended.
The personal data collected are intended for the management of contractual relationships and the provision of services.
In cases where it is necessary to obtain the data subject’s consent, at the time of data collection, more specific information will be provided regarding the purpose, use, storage and possible transfer to third parties of the personal data collected.
Rights of data subjects
With regard to the personal data collected, IDMIND ensures that the respective data subjects may, at any time, request from the Data Protection Officer, through the contact details indicated below, the exercise of their rights, such as: access, rectification, portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and erasure under the following conditions: the data are no longer necessary for the purpose that led to their collection or processing; the data subject withdraws consent when consent is the legal basis; or the data subject objects to processing and there are no overriding legitimate interests justifying the retention of the data and refusal of such objection, or the data are no longer necessary for the purpose that led to their collection or processing.
The data subject may request the deletion of their personal data whenever they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected and whenever they wish to withdraw their consent, without, however, affecting prior lawful processing. This request will be complied with whenever it does not conflict with any legal requirement or contractual necessity regarding the personal data retention period.

IDMIND undertakes to ensure the protection of the security of the personal data made available to it, having implemented strict rules in this matter.
Compliance with these rules is an indispensable obligation for all those who legally access such data.
Various technical and organizational security measures have been adopted in order to ensure the protection of the personal data provided against misuse, loss, alteration or unauthorized access, as well as any other form of unlawful processing.
